Lightricks’ Corporate Strategy team is looking for an experienced Competitor Intelligence Manager to join the team and empower strategic thinking and enable educated decision making. The team’s mission  is to master the Creator Economy market dynamics, challenges and trends and use it to Lightricks’ full advantage.

As a Competitor Intelligence Manager you will build a best-in-class market intelligence function. You will gather, analyze and build a winning market intelligence plan and processes to improve our market understanding, positioning and performance. You will lead our competitive intelligence program in partnership with internal stakeholders, communicating key findings across relevant teams within the company. Your work will support decision making and strategic planning – a high degree of professionalism, dedication and discretion is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive our competitive research program in partnership with product, marketing, business and corporate development.
  • Initiate and conduct research activities to gather information on competitors, their products, go-to-market and overall performance, to help the company make better decisions.
  • Combine research and analytical skills to interpret and predict the likely actions of competitors to help support strategic planning.
  • Remain fully informed on market trends and competitors’ activity map, track and classify the different competitors across the entire company’s products, solutions and services.
  • Analyze and model impacts of competitor offerings on the company’s products and service.
  • Communicate key findings to internal stakeholders and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Formulate a plan, present it to senior management and lead its execution.
  • Create an up-to-date repository for all competitive content, acting as the expert and communicator of competitor updates.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role as a competitive/business/market analyst in a tech company
  • Proven track record of conducting research and producing impactful reports
  • Passion for using research to provide high-quality insights across the organization, with a gift for digging deep and connecting the dots
  • Great communication skills, both verbally and in-written - comfortable presenting findings across the organization including executives and management level
  • Academic degree, preferably business-oriented disciplines or information systems 
  • Technical background/ability to understand and analyze technological products
  • Familiarity with Mobile products, go-to-market, economics and metrics 
  • Have a bias towards critical thinking, expertise, and action
  • Fluent English 
  • IDF Intelligence background - preferred
