The suite of apps has over 500 million downloads worldwide and has won numerous prestigious awards — including Apple's App of the Year, the Apple Design Award and both Apple and Google Play’s Best of the Year. Every month, over 100 million images and videos are created and shared by individuals, influencers, and brands using a Lightricks-powered app. 

Lightricks’ vision is to bring creativity to the masses. The ecosystem we are building includes an array of photo & video editing tools. We live & breathe design - from product to production.

We are now searching for someone passionate about social media and building digital community to take over our core Apps social media channels, across Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, RED, Zhihu and beyond. We need someone who lives and breathes social media, is on top of the latest trends, across platforms, and is excited to bring their ideas to life. 

Responsibilities

  • Own the day to day of all brand-related social accounts.
  • Act as the primary person responsible for all posting, community engagement, replying and more.
  • Managing, executing and developing social campaigns in a dynamic environment, ensuring campaign implementation follows brand guidelines. 
  • Coordinate with various teams on content creation for the accounts, across internal designers and content creators as well as external influencers and partners.
  • Research and stay on top of the latest industry trends and topics as well as the competition.
  • Ideate, plan and execute new ideas to maximize and increase app downloads, brand awareness and engagement on social media platforms.
  • Develop and ensure the quality of our brands’ online reputation, by monitoring, listening and responding to users while promoting engagement, support and sales.
  • Help cultivate and manage influencers and brand ambassador networks.
  • Analyze data from various posts and videos in order to make sure we’re hitting our goals.
  • Define and work toward achieving specific KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, advertisement or related field.
  • 2-3 years minimum experience as a social media manager, including hands-on experience and third-party management.
  • In-depth understanding of social media and passion for the ecosystem - showcase for WeChat, Weibo, Douyin or more is a must.
  • Knowledge in marketing storytelling and strong capability in copywriting.
  • Experience with influential marketing by working with KOL/KOC - a plus.
  • Technical understanding and ability to pick up new tools quickly.
  • Self-motivated to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
  • Passionate about pop culture, trends and influencers.
  • Ability to work to tight time constraints and fast-paced turnarounds.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Written and spoken English proficiency is a plus.

Preferred Requirements

  • Understanding of photo or video editing apps, especially a fan here.
  • Knowledge in Feeds/Display ads and Search on major social platforms is a plus.
  • Having personal social accounts with a remarkable number of followers is a strong plus.
  • Proven storytelling and communication skills across leadership, engineering teams, designers, customers, and partners.
