Every month, over 100 million images and videos are created and shared by individuals, influencers, and brands using a Lightricks-powered app.

We are growing rapidly and looking for a passionate and extraordinary Creative Designer to join our team and help us continue our growth trajectory! As a Creative Designer in the China marketing team, you’ll be working on ad & branding campaigns for the full Lightricks suite of apps. You will work with in-house specialists and outsource vendors to make sure the creatives (both KV & Video content) are in alignment with branding guidelines. You will have a chance to take chances, try new things and let your creativity shine in every project. If you are a creative and proactive individual who wants the opportunity to work on a variety of different products in an environment that encourages experimentation, then this could be the role for you!

Responsibilities

  • Design and animate creative assets from concept to production that will appear on Chinese multi-channel advertisements that reach millions.
  • Collaborate with HQ Creative Marketing team to get alignment on priorities, review creative performance results regularly and better localize existing successful digital assets for China market.
  • Manage third party vendors as necessary in the delivery of projects to drive the creative output to its excellence.
  • Keep branding consistency within the Lightricks brand and our products.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative analytics and performance metrics to advance creative marketing strategy.
  • Research the latest creative trends and utilize them to support our user acquisition and brand strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally and with stakeholders, while working on projects together with the team from pre-production to delivery.
  • Last but not least - have fun, take chances and try new things!

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Media Arts, Visual Communication or related field.
  • 5+ years of related professional experience in tech or marketing related industry, including hands-on experience and third-party management.
  • Exceptional online design portfolio and deep understanding of China digital world.
  • Knowledge in marketing storytelling and concept development.
  • Strong fundamentals in design, motion graphics, VFX & video compositing, typography, color grading and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work to tight time constraints and fast-paced turnarounds.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Written and spoken English proficiency is a must.

Preferred Requirements

  • Understanding of photo or video editing apps, especially a fan here.
  • Video production capabilities are a plus.
  • Highly proficient in AfterEffects and Photoshop. Premiere, DaVinci, Illustrator, and Cinema 4d - a plus.
  • Knowledge in Feeds/Display ads on major social platforms is a plus.
  • Having successfully built a pool of qualified vendors in the past with a strong project management track record.
  • Proven storytelling and communication skills across leadership, engineering teams, designers, customers, and partners.
