Job description

Lightricks, the creator of award-winning apps in the field of image and video, is now growing to a creator platform, supporting creators throughout their creator journey, from content creation to monetisation.

Lightricks’ BusinessDevelopment team is centered around contributing to Lightricks’s growth opportunities worldwide, and lastly, operating as a B2B unit in a B2C company.

We’re looking for a brilliant Business Development person, who masters the Creator Economy ecosystem, to lead the Business Development efforts in China. This role is revenue generating and will be responsible for achieving targets & goals by building, managing & enabling effective partnerships. If you are an independent, initiative-taker, macro-thinker who thrives on building relationships and pursuing opportunities with a passion for identifying new synergies - this is the place for you.

This role will be reporting to the GM of Lightricks China and based in our office in Shenzhen.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an alliances ecosystem strategy and roadmap - identify and secure new sources of growth for Lightricks.
  • Research partners, identify key players and generate interest while managing and growing existing relationships with partners to maximize mutual value on all sides.
  • Develop solid strategic go-to-market plans including business models and financial arrangements that are accretive to Lightricks, its partners and users.
  • Lead opportunities from ideation to business case development.  
  • Build and execute partnership agreements, manage complex business engagements from initiation to closing.
  • Establish a planning framework to ensure the initial groundwork and other details are in place for master plans to be completed on time.
  • Become a focal point for requirements and enhancements of the strategic relationship with the various platforms (like Apple and Bytedance) that support the product integrations and distribution.
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, R&D, customer success, finance, marketing) to develop work plans, analysis and execute projects.
  • Proactively monitor and communicate partnerships development and performance metrics, working to identify potential improvement solutions.
  • Monitor market conditions and changes in the business environment  to make judgments and recommendations if any changes are required to project plans.

Requirements

  • +7 years of B2B sales experience or experience in App Go-To-Market partnerships.
  • Successful track record of leading strategic partnerships and business development.
  • Strong business and financial acumen; Proven success of developing, structuring, negotiating and closing complex deals.
  • Proven track record of working with C-levels and VPs, both internally and externally.  
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills.
  • College degree required, MBA is preferred.
  • Fluent English - must.
