As a SaaS company, Lightricks is highly dependent on its ability to understand user behavior in real time and to adapt quickly to the users’ taste. With more than 15 products across mobile and web platforms, the data needs of the company are growing and becoming more complex than ever. We are looking for an experienced and motivated person to take our BI team to the next level, in order to unlock the full value of the company’s existing and potential data. As the Head of BI, you will mentor and manage a team of analysts and facilitate the analytics environment to help them answer business questions quickly and accurately. You will master the complex nuances of the company’s data and ETLs and understand the most critical business questions, in order to make data meaningful. You will detect and define new data needs, and take advantage of your expertise to model data and develop smart and tailored solutions to the various data consumers in the company. As an experienced analyst, you’ll lead a cross-company effort to discover, coordinate and answer the data-related needs of the marketing, product, data science, finance, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the performance of the team by mentoring the analysts and creating processes to share output and knowledge.
  • Work closely with the Data Platform team and Product engineers to improve our analytics backend.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and departments to understand new processes and KPIs.
  • Design, maintain and implement a Data Model for the various business processes of the company.
  • Improve ETL processes and design better data pipelines.
  • Find better tools for new and existing tasks.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis-related roles, including dashboarding, ETL development and data modeling - a must.
  • 2+ years of experience as a team lead in a hi-tech company - a must.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of SQL.
  • Extensive experience with Tableau - a plus.
  • An academic degree in a quantitative discipline from a top university - a plus.
  • Professional programming experience (preferably Python) - a plus.
