Lightricks is profitable, and is expanding rapidly, this led us to conclude that we need an in-house software team leader, who will report directly to the COO, to build sophisticated software solutions that will serve us company-wide. Lightricks prides itself on being a place where people love to work, with an emphasis on combining high personal standards & cordial yet genuine communication between teammates. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join an internationally-oriented, dynamic and high standards work environment - yet with the comforts of a home base in Jerusalem. This position is hands-on. The perfect candidate will have extensive experience working in a growing company, implementing various solutions. This position will work directly with and support various key departments including Operations, IT, HR, Finance, Legal to improve their efficiency.

This position is hands-on. The perfect candidate will have extensive experience working in a growing company, implementing various solutions. This position will work directly with and support various key departments including Operations, IT, HR, Finance, Legal to improve their efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Identify needs and leverage points within the organization that can benefit from tech solutions.
  • Implement software engineering best practices.
  • Manage and mentor a growing team of talented young developers and prioritize their work flow.
  • Deliver high quality code components and be the technical lead of the department.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably in Python or JavaScript.
  • 3+ years of frontend development experience.
  • Experience designing and building cloud based web-applications.
  • Good understanding of networking and network-security concepts.
  • Good understanding of compliance with data-privacy regulations - a plus.
  • Experience writing unit tests and testable code.
  • Experience with CI/CD solutions (Jenkins, Circle CI, Travis CI etc.).
  • Ability to translate abstract needs from various in-house clients (with no CS development background) into technical & UX/UI solutions based on best practices.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, can do attitude, a maker & a hacker. All this, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
  • Experience leading a technical team or project.
