Influencer Marketing Team Lead

Job description

Lightricks is a pioneer in creativity tools that inspire people to craft visual content and share the world through their eyes with friends, family and followers. The company brings a unique blend of cutting-edge academic research, technology, and design to every product experience it creates. Lightricks’ suite of apps has over 500 million downloads worldwide and has won numerous prestigious awards — including Apple's App of the Year, the Apple Design Award and both Apple’s and Google Play’s Best of the Year. Every month, over 100 million images and videos are created and shared by individuals, influencers, and brands using a Lightricks-powered app.

As a platform in the center of the creator ecosystem, relationships with talent of all kinds are critical to our success. This is an exciting role at the center of our talent practice, which has a hand in almost everything we do as the Content & Creators team.

To us, talent can be anyone, from aspiring creators to the largest A-list influencers and celebrities. We need an experienced operator who can see the forest as well as the trees… both the minutiae of talent vetting, casting, negotiating and management, and the overarching trends evolving across the industry.

The most fitting candidate will bring to the table an existing network of contacts and the battle scars of negotiations with talent, agents, networks and more. You are service-oriented, providing insights, relationships and tactics to "clients" across the company.

As a team lead you will manage a global team of Talent Managers and must have relevant team management / mentorship experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as air traffic control for how talent is integrated across the company.
  • Lead a team of talent managers that will be focused on supporting various specific efforts (performance, editorial, campaigns, etc.).
  • Lead efforts to keep us always on the cutting edge of talent partnerships, including deal structure, best practices, terms, equity grants, etc.
  • Provide thought leadership on trends in talent partnerships and the creator ecosystem overall.
  • Advise on larger-scale initiatives such as gifting strategy, influencer advisory boards and similar cross-company, long-term initiatives.
  • Elevate activities across the team and the company that relate to talent and creator ecosystem efforts.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of talent-centric work, across a mix of influencers - either on the "side" of the talent or at an agency, media company, etc.
  • Deep experience with talent agreements, negotiating with agents, etc.
  • Passionate about social media, the Creator Ecosystem and storytelling, with a strong foundation of analytics, reporting, data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Talented at mentorship, with solid leadership skills.
  • Excellent multitasking, project-management and time-balancing skills.
  • Team player, service-oriented… your primary role is empowering others, not necessarily "owning" projects yourself.
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills - you're the kind of person people like getting a drink with.
  • Available to travel at least 20% of the time.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary.
  • Stock Options.
  • Private Medical Insurance.
  • Lunch & Gym Subsidy.
  • Pension Contributions (7%).
  • Holiday (25 days).
  • Seasonal & Anniversary Vouchers.
  • Team Activities - Yoga, Wellbeing, Dinners, Cocktails & more…
