Job description

The Lightricks London team is looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade
and manage all software, hardware and network infrastructure. You are a System or
Network specialist but are open to taking on the responsibility of a broader IT-generalist
role within the team.


Therefore we are looking for someone who is well-versed across the ins-and-outs of IT
support culture with exceptional communication and organisational skills. This will help
you to build relationships both with the local and global teams to deliver key-projects and
resolve IT end-related issues that our people have.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure software and hardware.
  • Manage network servers and technology tools.
  • Be the first-level contact for all issues needing to be resolved.
  • Use your people experience skills to strive for the highest standards of service.
  • Deliver security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Develop expertise to train team members on new software and technologies.
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, FAQs and IT policies.

Requirements

  • You’re a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
  • You’re experienced with databases, networks protocols, and patch management.
  • You’re able to understand the OSI network layer model and the configuration of network devices such as switches, routers and firewalls.
  • You’re knowledgeable in system security and backup/recovery.
  • You’ve supported iOS & MacOs environments.
  • You’ve gained higher-education or qualifications across IT and Computer Science.
