What you’ll be working on

As a Senior Motion Designer in the marketing team, you’ll be working on ad campaigns for the full Lightricks suite of apps. Working with our team teams in London and Jerusalem, you’ll be responsible for developing projects from initial concepts all the way through to final execution. You will also be expected to work with junior members of the team; collaborating with them on projects and providing mentorship.  If you are a creative and proactive individual who wants the opportunity to work on a variety of different products in an environment that encourages experimentation, then this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & edit motion graphic / static ads from concept to final execution.
  • Design and animate creative assets that will appear on global digital advertisements that reach millions
  • Upkeep high design standards in our deliverables, pushing for improvement, and making sure we are innovative and relevant..
  • Collaborate with our in-house video production crew and wider creative teams
  • Work with design briefs in-line with different product objectives, bringing creative / design flair to bear as appropriate.
  • Keep branding consistency within the Lightricks brand and our products.
  • Research the latest creative trends and utilise them to support our brand strategy.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Visual Communication or similar.
  • Exceptional online portfolio.
  • Knowledge in marketing storytelling, and concept development.
  • Strong fundamentals in graphic design, motion graphics, typography, layout, and strong attention to detail. Understanding of colour grading, VFX & video compositing is also a plus.
  • Highly proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience with DaVinci Resolve and Cinema 4d is also a plus.
  • 5+ years experience working in a professional design environment.
  • Proactive, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work to tight time constraints and fast-paced turnarounds.
  • Complete understanding of end-to-end design and creative process, across digital channels.
  • Knowledge in Google’s UAC platform & YouTube advertising is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
