Lightricks’ vision is to bring creativity to the masses and the ecosystem we are building includes an array of photo & video editing tools. We live & breathe design - from product to production. So far we have built eight award-winning mobile products and amassed 200-million downloads but we’re not stopping there… In 2019, we opened an R&D office in London with the goal of growing a team of Design and Technology experts that want to contribute to the growth of Lightricks by creating new products to join our suite of existing apps. As part of our expansion, we’re looking for a Senior Motion Graphics Designer. This position is highly conceptual and you will produce stunning visual and animated content that will be published within the mobile apps. Responsibilities

  • Design, illustrate and animate creative assets that will appear within our mobile apps.
  • Generate new ideas and visuals for creative content. Have fun. Take chances. Try new things. Be awesome.
  • Work with Developers to align the highest quality of design standards.
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and features for the app as part of the wider product team.
  • Research photography & design visual trends.

Requirements

  • Exceptional portfolio / reel. Please include this in your application. 
  • Strong understanding of design, illustration, layout, and typography principles. 
  • Affinity for consistency, composition, colour use and a keen eye for subtle details.
  • Highly proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects. 
  • Sketch, Lottie, Bodymovin, and Cinema 4D experience is beneficial. 
  • Familiarity with visual trends in photography & design.
  • Bachelor's Degree or work experience in Graphic Design, Animation, Media Arts, Visual Communication.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, ability to work independently.
  • Ability to apply outside of the box-thinking and can communicate their creative thinking and design process to non-designers.
