As a product web designer, you will be involved in the core process of creating our web products. You will use your artistic and creative skills to create innovative and intuitive user experiences, and use your web expertise to support Lightricks' efforts to expand from mobile to web and allow even more users to unleash their creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and prototype new, elegant, and easy-to-use user experiences based on product requirements. 
  • Take ownership of a project from the first ink drop to the last pixel implementation. This includes conducting user research, creating wireframes, planning user flows, and prototyping all the way to UI design and developer handoff.
  • Collaborate with Product managers, Developers, Data Analysts, and other Designers to create and deliver exceptional features and products.
  • Have fun, take chances, dare to fail, and try new things.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in building and shipping applications or software in mobile and/or web environments.
  • Amazing communication skills and the ability to deliver compelling design rationales.
  • Exceptional online portfolio exhibiting interaction design work, specifically complex web projects
  • Strong fundamentals in interaction design, typography, color, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into simple UIs.
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and user research methodology - an advantage.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies; - an advantage.
