We're looking for senior researchers with a passion for what they do and a proven track record of bringing innovative research projects to fruition and production. As a senior researcher at Lightricks, you will lead the research of next generation algorithms in the visual, auditory or textual domains as well as understand how to engage our customers to assist them in expressing their creativity. You will mentor other researchers and lead complex research projects with multiple participants. We deal with many diverse problem domains, among them are computational photography, signal processing and manipulation, computer graphics, neural rendering, robustness and efficient ML systems.

• Conducting applied research, keeping in mind the constraints and requirements of real world solutions.
• Actively participating in tech transfer of new research into products.
• Mentoring other researchers in your team and leading projects with multiple participants.
• Working with engineers, designers and product managers to aim your research to the right place.
• Keeping up with new research developments in academia and exposing them to all team members.
• Maintaining efficient workflows in your research process, using best practices and tools.

• M.Sc + 4 years industry experience or Ph.D. + 2 years industry experience. Degrees in the exact domain of interest and\or internship in relevant companies are considered as equivalents to more experience.
• Strong applied math background.
• Proven track record of conducting production ready research projects. This includes research work under constraints, both in academia, e.g. a SIGGRAPH demonstration, and in industry.
• Research experience and familiarity with the literature in one of the Lightricks’ areas of interest.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new ideas and innovate.
• Research track record including main contributions to projects you can showcase, peer-reviewed research publications, etc.
