Why this Role
The partnerships team sits at the intersection of our revenue team and product, and the primary goal is business development. This person will be responsible for collaborating with our product, sales, marketing, finance and customer success teams to identify and drive revenue and growth initiatives through and with our most strategic partners such as Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.

Responsibilities

What will you do with Popular Pays as a Team Lead:

  • Be the strategic leader in terms of how we leverage our existing partners (partner and ecosystem) and how we can grow and capitalize on additional partner relationships
  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
  • Collaborate with senior management across Revenue, Product, and Marketing to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
  • Research partners, identify key players, and generate interest

Requirements

You may be fit for this role if you have:

  • Previous working experience in strategic partnerships for (5+) years, could blend with partner or client-facing sales experience. (Business Acumen)
  • Experience in the MarTech (marketing/advertising) landscape with a focus on social media
  • Some management experience of people and growing individuals
  • Ability to set a strategy and also be able to execute against that strategy operating as both a player and a coach
  • Ability to network complex sales and marketing organizations, and understand decision making processes and navigate complex sales cycles
  • Ability to work cross functionally with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Nice to Have: Any pre-existing relationships with any of the platforms (Youtube, Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, etc) OR existing relationships in the social media landscape and marketing industry, including agencies and holding companies
